Talk soon,
Jamie
In six months of coaching with Jamie, I went from working around 70 hours a week, on weekends, to a normal work week, ending at 6pm.
I've been able to take all of my vacation time.
I advocated for and onboarded two new full-time staff members on my team.
I've better negotiated work to create better work-life balance, not just for me, but for my entire team. And I was just promoted to Senior Director.
I got my dream job, pretty high profile position, the job I wanted for years, because I learned to advocate for myself through coaching with Jamie.
I'm a different person now. I require different things, I speak up for myself, I ask questions when I don't know the answers and I don't necessarily feel any kind of shame or anything around that.
These are things that plagued me for years, things that held me back. And now that I've learned better ways to handle situations, that would just be moving backwards, and I'm all about progress.
(Few months after the interview) I have officially transitioned into a new role as an Executive Director.
As you know, my goal for 2021 was to position myself for an ED promotion.
I'm thrilled to have hit the milestone several months early.
Thank you for your coaching and guidance along the way; you helped me demonstrate my value to my company (and to myself) in a way that set me up to land this promotion.
